Getting There

Valdez is easily accessible to most of Alaska by highway, air and/or sea.  Following are a variety of ways to get to Valdez. [our location]

Road: The vistas from Glennallen to Valdez make the drive to town an attraction in itself. Along the way you will have a panoramic view of the Wrangell-St.Elias Mountains, opportunity to walk up to Worthington Glacier, and a chance to see Bridal Veil and Horsetail Falls in Keystone Canyon. Valdez is located:
 
    -- 120 miles from Glennallen.
    -- 308 miles from Anchorage.
    -- 364 miles from Fairbanks.
    -- 254 miles from Tok.

Air: ERA Aviation services Valdez with three flights from Anchorage daily. [for reservations]

Water: The Alaska Marine Highway provides service between Valdez and Whittier, Seward and Juneau.
